Orbisis House, launched under the sponsorship of Orbisis Bilişim Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., is an innovative social support project aimed at helping young talents take a solid step into professional business life in Ankara. The project opens its doors to engineers who want to specialize particularly in the hardware and infrastructure fields of the IT sector.
1. Project Purpose and Summary
The Orbisis House project is a social support and talent management program aimed at bringing high-potential young engineers—who wish to specialize in the hardware and infrastructure side of the IT sector (data center, network topologies, server, and storage solutions) but lack accommodation in Ankara—into the industry. By offering selected candidates free accommodation within "Orbisis House," the project aims to eliminate financial concerns at the beginning of their careers and ensure they focus entirely on their technical development.
2. Target Audience and Application Criteria
Candidates to be included in the program are expected to meet the following minimum requirements:
- Education: Being a graduate or a senior student of engineering faculties.
- Foreign Language: Having a minimum C-level English certificate or having completed a 4-year undergraduate education 100% in English.
- Location: Currently residing outside of Ankara and not having accommodation opportunities in Ankara.
- Career Goal: Demonstrating high motivation to develop oneself in the fields of non-software hardware, systems, networks, and enterprise architecture solutions in the IT sector.
3. Opportunities Provided Within the Project
- Free Accommodation: Candidates will stay free of charge at "Orbisis House," which is specifically allocated for the project.
- Career and Mentorship Support: Candidates will have the opportunity to gain practical field and project experience in hardware and infrastructure technologies from experienced professionals within Orbisis Bilişim.
4. Process and "Graduation" Criteria
Orbisis House is not a permanent residence facility, but a springboard.
- Process Flow: Engineers accepted into the program start to take part in full-time and qualified positions in the sector by increasing their technical competencies.
- Support End Criterion: The participant's accommodation support ends successfully when they reach a specified minimum salary level (Target Income Level) that can easily meet independent living standards under market conditions. After this stage, the participant is considered an "Orbisis House Graduate" and hands over their place to a new talent.
5. Expected Contributions to the Sector
- Early Access to Qualified Workforce: Pre-identifying and training the need for well-equipped engineers for critical projects.
- Sectoral Social Responsibility: Direct contribution is expected to closing the gap in trained human resources within Turkey's IT hardware ecosystem.
